Michigan Wine Producers Association released the following statement today:
We support the Office of Regulatory Reinvention’s efforts to make the regulation of Michigan wineries more business friendly. Wineries in Michigan produce value added agriculture products that help job creation in a number of ways, from directly employing thousands of workers to enhancing tourism. We applaud any recommendations that sensibly support the responsible growth of the wine industrsy. Reforms like these support the creation of jobs and making Michigan a more desirable place to live and visit.
The Michigan Wine Producers Association is a Michigan non-profit corporation representing the interests of the Michigan wine industry.
