Plug In America, the Sierra Club, and the Electric Auto Association once again join forces to create a nationwide observance drawing global attention to the environmental, economic and other benefits of plug-in electric vehicles through simultaneous events staged around the country.
National Plug-In Day is coming, Sunday, September 23rd. The event is being organized locally by the Michigan Electric Auto Association and the Ecology Center.
This year we expect 50+ cities to participate. City teams are being formed and the organizers are at work creating the website for this year’s event.
In the Ann Arbor/Saline area, the event schedule is below:
Sunday September 23, 2-5:30pm
2 – 3 PM
Street display plus Ride & Drive
Parking lot at the corner of South Ann Arbor St. & Michigan Ave., Saline
3 – 4 PM
EV Parade from Saline to Ann Arbor along M12 and State street to one of the parking lots on Main Street in Ann Arbor (exact location coming soon).
4 – 5:30 PM
Street display plus Ride & Drive at the Main Street, Ann Arbor location
