The Ferndale Public Library is honored and grateful to have received a grant of $1500 from Peace Action of Michigan.
The grant has been used to purchase materials for adults and children, dealing with various peace issues. Included are books, audiobooks, movies and music CDs. The new collection will be unveiled on Fri., Sep. 21, which is National Peace Day. All items can be checked out by Ferndale Public Library cardholders and members of other Oakland County libraries. The library is located at 222 E. Nine Mile Rd.
