Ecotelligent Homes has been hand-picked by DTE Energy to participate in their new Home Performance Pilot program which provides a FREE home assessment to DTE Energy’s natural gas consumers in Kent, Washtenaw and Wayne Counties.
This offer consists of an assessment of the health, safety, comfort, and energy performance of your home including a written Home Energy Plan with detailed suggestions to help lower your energy bills and increase comfort.
The appointment will take about an hour and will start with visual inspections and measurements of the entire home, including the attic and/or crawl space. Then the home energy auditor will perform health and safety checks on all the combustion appliances in the home to ensure the residents are not exposed to hazardous pollutants like Carbon Monoxide. At the end of the appointment, the inspector will sit down with the homeowner to summarize the results and to discuss solutions to any problematic areas. The homeowner will then be given a detailed plan to help them lower their utility bills and improve the comfort and health of their home.
