Based on on-the-ground testing and real-life experience, this third report card will again provide a specific letter grade along with concrete recommendations for improvements. It will once again be accompanied by Faces of Transit, personal stories of bus riders’ experience relying on DDOT and the impacts that DDOT’s problems have had on their lives.
New this year, we will present copies of the Transit Bill of Rights signed by thousands of Detroiters and others from throughout the region, demanding quality service from every transit provider. In addition we will invite transit decision makers along for an escorted Ride-the-Bus day on November 30 so they can personally experience what 100,000 DDOT riders experience every day.
