A party goods store closed and donated over 150 boxes of new merchandise. We’re closing the classroom for this sale.
Great opportunities for schools, community organizations, families/family reunions, retailers and resellers.
Merchandise to include invitations, gift wrap, greeting cards, plastic cutlery and much more.
We have not picked up the merchandise yet, so we can’t publicize prices, but you KNOW bargains abound!

Exciting Program with Ronald Brown Academy
Thanks to donors at the October Arts & Scraps auction, St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church/Church Women! Ioby.org, an environmental online donor site, also posted our project and we received funding from all over the country.
Jan. – Ronald Brown Academy, our neighborhood school, will receive classroom kits to learn and create.
Jan. – volunteer photographers will visit classrooms to capture students as they think, create and learn
Feb. 23 1 – 4 Public Gallery Opening of photography and free family projects, open to the public.
Ronald Brown students will be our honored guests.

We are the fortunate recipient of two videos from local FOX2, a longtime donor and friend to Arts & Scraps. One was produced for their Internet site, the other to be broadcast on television. Here they are:

What’s New
– Stickles are back in lots of shapes, thanks to new donors.
– Deborah has added new bins and it looks wonderful. Kudos to our Store Manager, staff and lots of great volunteers.
– Large selection of National Geographic magazines. Great reading and pictures; goes in bag.
– QUANTITY of new acrylic paint in 2 oz. squeeze containers: $0.50
– Clip art books before computers: lots of drawings, borders and words–too much fun!

Now: Yarn Craze–all our yarn out at once; fill a handled grocery bag for $10. Most of the yarn is new. Some very fancy yarn is in the single priced area of the store. Time for warm scarves and winter projects.
Next: Office supplies on Feb. 2 when the party goods sale starts.
Do you shop at Kroger? You can support Arts & Scraps with no effort each time you shop. Visit the Kroger site and register–our account is 90766. If you have donated in the past, you must register each April. Kroger changed their policy and we will not know who is giving to thank you personally.
