Automation Alley, Michigan’s largest technology business association, has announced its panel of speakers for Global Economic and Industry Outlook for 2014 and Beyond, to be held Jan. 30 from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at Automation Alley Headquarters in Troy.
The conference, hosted in partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce, the East Michigan District Export Council and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, will focus on helping companies navigate the shifting dynamics of the global economy and best position themselves to take advantage of the opportunities and challenges of doing business overseas.
How will the eurozone, China’s GDP growth rate, geopolitical threats, shale oil discoveries, technological innovations and novel approaches to the way we manufacture things impact the world economy in 2014 and beyond? These trends and more will be discussed.

Global Economic and Industry Outlook for 2014 and Beyond will begin at 8 a.m. with registration. The program starts at 8:30 a.m., followed by a panel discussion from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
