Automation Alley, Michigan’s largest technology business association, will welcome speakers from Microsoft, Dell and AT&T for a lunch ‘n’ learn event titled “Mobile Computing for the Enterprise,” Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at its headquarters in Troy.
Organized by Automation Alley’s Technology Committee, this event is open to Automation Alley members and non-members. The event will focus on both software and hardware case studies and will include technology demonstrations highlighting how new mobile devices have empowered the workforce to do more.
“Mobile devices are constantly changing the business landscape,” said Automation Alley Executive Director Ken Rogers. “It’s essential that our local business community remains ahead of the curve as these technologies become increasingly important tools for getting the job done.”
Speakers at the event will include:
• Zachary Bell, business sales specialist, Microsoft
• Brent Grosenheider, field marketing consultant, Dell
• Matthew McKee, solutions consultant, AT&T
The day will begin with registration from 8:30 to 9 a.m., followed by the program from 9 to 11 a.m. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to noon, and breakout sessions will take place from noon to 1 p.m.
The cost to attend includes lunch and is $10 for members with pre-registration or $20 at the door. The cost for non-members is $20 with pre-registration or $30 at the door. Pre-registration closes Oct. 27 at close of business. To register, visit automationalley.com.
