Sustainable City Network will host a free 1-hour webinar, Sustainability in the City of Baltimore, next Thursday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m. Pacific, noon Mountain, 1 p.m. Central and 2 p.m. Eastern Time. This webcast will feature Baltimore Sustainability Director Beth Strommen and four key staff members who will describe how this coastal city used community engagement to move a variety of sustainability initiatives forward, including the Baltimore Energy Challenge, its Disaster Preparedness Project and Plan, the Growing Green initiative and its Green, Healthy, Smart Challenge in local schools, among other programs.
