Our Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup Is made the old fashioned way. In late winter and early spring we collect sap from our 150 year old maple trees on our family farm in Imlay City, MI. We boil the sap over an open fire. It takes 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup. Then we age our syrup in an oak bourbon barrel. The barrel imparts an fantastic bourbon aroma and flavor without the alcohol.
