When was the last time you used a paper map to work out the best route? It’s likely your phone is doing that for you these days, or your car. They can tell you where the traffic is, what mode of transportation to take, and more.
Connected mobility is rapidly emerging as a solution for improving transportation not just for individual drivers but for entire cities. It’s just a case of putting the different pieces together.
One key piece is the connected car, which can deliver personal mobility solutions and also the data that is integral to making cities smarter and more efficient.
To get a better understanding of where connected cars fit in to the equation, I’d like to share two presentations, one by Ralf Lamberti, Director of Connecter Car at Daimler, and the other by Bryan Mistele, President and CEO of INRIX. They will offer essential insight into how automakers and their partners are laying the foundations for smart connected transportation and what this means for future mobility.
