The Farmers’ Market made it’s return to the hospital last month and was a huge success. Make sure to mark your calendars and join us each week for Henry’s Market on Main. The market is held every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. now through November.
The market is located inside Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital on Main Street and offers guests the opportunity to purchase fresh, locally grown produce.
The market features:
A wide variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables
Fresh baked bread from Great Harvest Bread Co.
A beautiful array of flowers
Delicious local honey
Recipes and mini-cooking demonstrations from Henry’s cafe chefs, using ingredients grown in our greenhouse
This year we are also offering a Farm Share program for those who want to be a part of the community supported agriculture (CSA) movement.
The Henry Ford Farm Share program offers weekly pick up of in-season vegetables from local Michigan farmers. Each week you receive between 10-15 produce items, enough to feed a family of four.
The full farm share registration is now closed, but you can still sign up for the half share program. Shares get picked up each week at Henry’s Market on Main. The deadline to sign up for the half share program is August 19th. Each farm share member will receive a reusable bag.
