Fermenting Vegetables and Fruits Class
Join us for a live demonstration of fermenting vegetables and fruit to be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015, 7 to 9 p.m. at Calvary Chapel of Oakland County, 1975 E. Long Lake Road in Troy. You’ll learn the benefits of fermenting and pickling, and be provided fermenting instructions as well as enjoy samples. Fermented fruits, with and without whey, will be demonstrated.

HTN and Loya Organic Lunch
Healthy Traditions Network, along with Loya Organic Middle Eastern Grill, will be hosting a lunch at the restaurant, 4284 Orchard Lake Road, West Bloomfield, MI, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2015. Loya Organic prepares their food according to the Weston A. Price Foundation philosophy and sources locally. Steve Bemis, retired Board member of the Farm-To-Consumer Legal Defense Fund, will make a brief presentation to update us on the legal battles within the farming/consumer community.
