Thursday, October 20
10:45am: Rallied retired autoworkers in Detroit around the stakes in this election and the direction we need to take our state
12:30pm: Addressed Monroe area school personnel about education policy and finance reforms needed to lift student achievement
7pm: Met with Oakland County front-line educators about challenges they face, and what we must do to provide the tools and support for our teachers and support staff to do their jobs
I could go on, but you get the idea.
I really don’t know how he does it, but I do know why he does it. John is a tireless advocate for Michigan’s students, parents, and educators, and he’ll travel 300 miles in a day to listen to and support them. No matter how hard he works, though, John won’t be able to do this work alone.
Can you chip in $15 today to support John as he continues to travel across Michigan to spread his positive message of an inclusive, effective, and accessible education system?
In the next week, John will visit Frankfort, Traverse City, Bath Township, Calhoun County, Madison Heights, and Flint. Even with this packed schedule, he can’t make reach all of the voters he’ll need before Election Day. That’s where you come in.
If you share the pledge to vote link with your network, you’ll be lending John a hand while he travels across Michigan and back again to speak with as many voters as possible.
Thanks for your help. I know we can count on you.
