Rising unbeaten prospects Jarico O’Quinn, Gheith Karim, Desmond Jarmon and Leon Lawrence III bolster a deep lineup of Midwest fighters Friday in Michigan’s The Best of Tomorrow 3
DETROIT (February 20, 2018) – The DeCarlo’s Banquet & Convention Center in Warren, Michigan will be hosting an excellent night of professsional boxing this Friday, February 23rd with action starting at 8 PM. Topbreed Management along with Second 2 None Promotions’ first fight card of 2018, The Best of Tomorrow 3: The War in Warren tentatively features 10 exciting matchups put together by matchmaker, Aaron Rodriguez.
In the card’s co-main events, Detroit native, Jarico O’Quinn (7-0-1, 5 KOs) faces a highly experienced opponent in Kenya’s Nick Otieno (31-12, 13 KOs) while Dearborn’s Gheith Karim (2-0, 1 KO) defends his zero against Atlanta’s Chester Tatmon (3-0, 1 KO).
O’Quinn is a bantamweight currently signed to Dmitriy Salita. O’Quinn is looking for an electrifying start to 2018.
Another noteworthy Midwest-based promoter also has a young promising talent on display Friday. About Billions Promotions’ undefeated featherweight Desmond Jarmon (4-0 3 KOs) returns to action after victory in Cincinnati earlier this month. Jarmon is looking to stay sharp before hopefully fighting on the undercard of the recently announced Adrien Broner versus Omar Figueroa, Jr card that airs on Showtime Boxing Saturday, April 21.
Another young legend, Leon Lawson III, is coming off his pro debut wining by way of a first round knockout over Robert Alexander Seyam. The bout took place in Flint, MI on the undercard of Anthony Dirrell’s technical decision victory over Dennis Douglin. Lawson needed just 40 seconds to finish the match as an excellent counter left hook put Seyam down and out for the count. Lawson is a special talent and comes from a long line of boxing greats.
The card is currently scheduled for 10 fights, but as usual, the lineup is subject to change. Other intriguing prospects scheduled to be in the lineup include Isiah Jones, Curtis Head, AJ Flagg, Joseph Bonas, debut Kiara Marquez, Robert Simms, and Derrick Colemon Jr.
Tickets are available at www.S2Nboxing.com or by calling 248-599-1095. Prices are $35 for general admission, $65 for VIP and $100 for Ringside. A ringside table which seats 10 people is also available for $750 and includes a bottle of champagne.
