The Ford Community & Performing Arts Center in Dearborn, Michigan will be hosting an excellent night of professsional boxing this Friday, May 11th with action starting at 7:30pm. Doors are 7pm. Topbreed Management along with Second 2 None Promotions’ present The Best of Tomorrow IV: The War in Dearborn, tentatively features 12 exciting matchups put together by matchmakers, Kenny Moore, Pee Robinson and Aaron Rodriguez.
Detroit native and rising prospect, Jafar Mohammed comes off a three-year lay off to battle Nigerian Yakubu Kareem in what is sure to be a very exciting super bantamweight bout. Noteworthy Welterweight prospect, Gheith Mohammed, “The SouthPaw Prince” recently signed to Second 2 None Promotions will defend his zero against Jared Chauvin.
Basil Ali Nasser will make his pro debut against another debut, Deron Smith training out of the World’s Best Boxing Gym. This will definitely be a riveting battle between the two young legends.
Another young legend, Flint native, Leon Lawson III will return to battle in Michigan in search of his fifth professional win. This is a rising prospect you don’t want to miss as he’s making his way into the rankings very quickly. Lawson is a special talent and comes from a long line of boxing greats. Andre and Anthony Dirrell will be in attendance as well as other celebrities .
Friday night will also be a night of redemption for Curtis Head, Jr. as he enters the ring against Robert Simms to get the record straight. It’s Detroit versus Saginaw in the Battle for Heavyweight supremacy.
The card is currently scheduled for 12 fights, but as usual, the lineup is subject to change. Other intriguing fighters include Sinan Fradi, Clarence Dubose, Debut Christion White, Aslambek Idigov and Emmanuel Sanchez.
