Canna Business Succeeds In Michigan’s Marketplace During Governmental Controversy

While the transition of Michigan’s Governor and overseeing entities like LARA, Michigan’s Licensing and Regulatory Affairs Office, see the normal shake-ups of a new administration, those truly interested in Michigan’s “Growing Industry’ continue to stay involved and educated in the latest shifting sands of law and technologies related to creating an optimal business model, no matter what arm of the business their interests lie.
The MICannabisExpo, was held last week on February 26-27 at the Frankenmuth Credit Union Event Center in Birch Run, Michigan. Hosting the event was The Cannabis Industrial Marketplace, a collective of individuals with ingenuity and professionalism within the realms of marketing and structure.
As a flagship conference, attendance is often low, but quality is always key. The attendees and vendors who weathered the storms to be there were serious about making connections, learning about, and ‘growing’ connections through their various industries.
The business of Cannabis is indeed, serious business.
Adding to their wheelhouse of financial gain were companies extending into their services into the specialization of marijuana facility management and security, packaging and labeling, shelving and lighting, oil extraction, product processing, food safety, legal and business consulting services, insurance, wholesale items, plant nutrition and soil, and even interior design to assure your branding has the right atmosphere of integrity.
Presentations were designated by interest, allowing the attendees to find their place of education in 3 different rooms, with half a dozen speakers on such topics as regulation, growing and processing, technology and security, and optimizing facility methods. The topics and seminar as a whole was well thought out and had both well known experts in the industry as well as business and construction professionals. An after hours mixer was also a great chance to network after the first day of the event, giving everyone a chance to network and integrate their new knowledge within a relaxed atmosphere.
At the end of it all, attendees stated they were happy with the variety of businesses and speakers, while each vendor when asked was happy with the outcome of the connections and leads they were given.
