When you give blood through the American Red Cross, you’re giving someone “hope.” It’s hard to imagine a more perfect gift than the gift of life…
Please give blood at the Wayne County Healthy NEW ME Spring Blood Drive from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 2,and ask a friend to join you. The event will be held adjacent to 640 Temple (next to the Masonic Temple) in the American Red Cross Bloodmobile. Free, secure parking is available in the building lot and registration will take place in the building lobby.
Wayne County’s winter blood drive held this past January was very successful, and we are hoping for a successful turnout once again.
We need donors and there are plenty of prime appointment times available. Please take a moment to click the link below and make an appointment today.*

Note: Appointments are recommended but not necessary. Walk-ins will also be accepted.
Remember, there is always a need for blood and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. The blood supply in metropolitan Detroit is critically low, and 900 donors are needed daily to meet the demand in our area.

Thanks for your consideration.
*Please bring your Red Cross blood donor card or two pieces of positive ID when you come to donate.
