Lansing Community College Gets $727,000 Grant to Develop Green Building Career Pathway

“Michigan has become the new center of the world’s electric vehicle and advanced energy storage industries. Automotive manufacturers and their suppliers project a need for over 1,000 additional engineers and technicians over the next five years that are trained to work in hybrid vehicle design and manufacturing.
Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), USA, Inc’s group vice president and general manager of Toyota Customer Services, Fletcher V. Davidson will receive the 2012 Executive of the Year Award during the 16th Annual Urban Wheel Awards on Jan. 8, 2011, which will be held in the Sound Board theatre at MotorCity Casino Hotel during the North American International Auto Show’s (NAIAS) press preview week. The Urban Wheel Awards is the official multicultural event of the NAIAS.
