Making Mindfulness a Daily Habit
Mindfulness and wellness go hand in hand, but what does mindfulness mean in daily life? Two Beaumont experts introduce the concept of mindfulness and the benefits of mindful eating, mindful movement and meditation. They’ll share tips and resources for making mindfulness a daily habit and for enhancing your personal practice.
Lucy Sternburgh, PhD is a mindfulness-based stress reduction teacher and a board-certified health and wellness coach working in Employee Wellness at Beaumont Health.
Ruth Lerman MD, is an Internist specializing in breast health and disease. She is the Medical Director Beaumont Center for Mindfulness, Director of Stress Reduction Programs, Physician Wellness and Professionalism, Assistant Professor Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and a Certified Teacher of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
