LAHC Lanches “Be Smart-Drive Safe” Community-Wide Campaign

lahlogo LAHC- Leaders Advancing and Helping Community in partnership with LaFontaine DealershipDearborn Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration, Department of Homeland Security Investigation, Dearborn Public Schools, Parent Teacher Association (PTA Council), Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority and Middle Eastern Law Enforcement Officers Association, announces the launch of its Teen Driver Safety Awareness Campaign: “Be Smart-Drive Safe.” This year’s campaign will launch On October 19th at 9:30 a.m. at Fordson High School in Dearborn, MI. during National Teen Driver Safety Week (NTDSW).  The event is expected to host over 1000 students.

“Be Smart-Drive Safe” campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of not texting while driving, distracted driving as well as driving under the influence. Through this effort, we engage youth by providing them with facts, testimonials, and preventative tools on the importance of safe driving and the distribution of “Don’t text and drive” bands.More
