In a successful effort to gain a larger audience for the creativity and intelligence of Millennials, as well as expand their attendance at the annual Auto Show in Detroit, as well as address the issues of more stylish Eco-Vehicles, GreeningDetroit.com’s spokesperson, Jill Dougherty made a huge splash at the 2016 North American International Auto Show, being interviewed live by WXYZ Channel 7, (http://www.wxyz.com/money/auto-news/auto-show/video-searching-for-green-well-designed-vehicles-at-the-auto-show-with-ccs-student-jill-dougherty) and by Alicia Douglas of Passion In Philanthropy for a short film that she is expected to present a short during a session on the #DetroitRising Initiative later this month. That event will take place Jan. 26 at Microsoft’s offices in Southfield, (http://www.hometownlife.com/story/news/local/livonia/2016/01/15/livonia-woman-wants-clean-mobility-info/78843462/).
Dougherty was introduced and spoke to various industry professionals such as Kevin Layden Director of Ford’s Electrified Powertrain Engineering, Ford Designer, George Manning, Volt Designer Stewart Norris, the design team for the Buick Avista Concept Car and Matthew Benson, Advanced Innovation Manager at Faurecia in Holland Michigan. Have you ever had an experience which is so delightful, mesmerizing and magical that it almost seems like a dream? You know, like that first date where you think you’ve found your “soulmate” and your heart skips a beat. Or how about that pass, catch, goal, hit, match or race that allows your team to win the championship? Maybe even having that perfect ride once you slip into your new car and take it for a spin that very first time. Well, that’s the experience experienced at this years’ auto show which caught me completely by surprise.
