RIVAGE DAY SPA TO HOST MOTHER AND TEEN SPA DAY FOR TEENS WITH CRITICAL ILLNESSES

Rivage Day Spa will host a special Mother and Teen Spa Day for teenagers battling serious medical conditions.  The event is sponsored by Wish Upon a Teen, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping teens cope with the effects of severe life-limiting illnesses, and will take place on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 5-8 p.m.  Rivage Day Spa is located at 210 S. Old Woodward, Suite 250 in downtown Birmingham, Michigan.

The Mother and Teen Spa Day will be a great opportunity for the teens to relax and unwind while bonding with other teens in an intimate and tranquil setting.  Each teen will enjoy an organic facial while their moms will receive a luxurious 30-minute massage.  Food and drinks are provided along with complimentary gift bags.  More

Detroit’s chapter of national organization, Wish Upon a Teen, and Mojo in the Morning of Detroit’s Channel 95.5, have joined together to present Mojo’s Wish Upon a Prom. 2017 marks the fifth annual year of prom.

“Prom is considered a rite of passage and milestone many teens look forward to,” said Wish Upon a Teen Executive Director Nancy Sovran. “It’s a chance for them to have a day where they can feel like celebrities as they dress up, have their picture taken and spend the night having fun with their friends. Every teen who wants to go to prom should be able to share this magical evening with their family and friends.” More

Proceeds will support programs for teens with severe medical conditions 

DETROIT – Wish Upon A Teen is proud to host A Fighting Chance, a premier boxing fundraiser, at Bert’s Warehouse on April 29 at 7:00 p.m. 

The semi-formal evening will feature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, raffles, music and six Vegas-style boxing matches, including a faceoff between celebrity boxers Dr. Darrius of WJLB radio and former WBO light middleweight champion Bronco McKart. 

The funds raised from A Fighting Chance will provide resources and opportunities to teens with severe life-limiting medical conditions through Wish Upon A Teen programs, including its flagship program, Design My Room ®, as well as other signature programs such as Spa Day, An Evening of Dreams Prom and family outings.
