The College of Management at Lawrence Technological University will hold an information session on the new Master of Science in Global Operations and Project Management on Monday, June 21, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The presentation will be held in room M336 of the Buell Management Building, 21000 W. 10 Mile Road, Southfield. Light refreshments will be served at the event hosted by Dean Louis DeGennaro of the College of Management. Lawrence Tech’s master’s degree program focuses on sustainable business practices that protect and maximize people, resources and profits. It aims to prepare graduates to manage sustainable and global business practices in growth industries such as defense, information technology and new product development. This degree program, which starts in the fall semester, also provides the foundation for pursuing certification as a project management professional. “The Global Operations and Project Management degree will leverage the innovative knowledge base of Lawrence Tech’s Center for Sustainability and Center for Global Leadership and Understanding,” DeGennaro said. “Students are expected to gain an understanding of how business processes and systems are designed, developed and implemented in a sustainable environment. Tomorrow’s managers must be able to execute as well as provide leadership. We are constantly looking to identify the demands for graduates as they strive for success in the global economy.” To RSVP to this free event, send an email to mgt-srm@ltu.edu Click here to be introduced to Lawrence Technological Univeristy Source: WWJ Newsradio 950
