May 15, 2011, Grosse Pointe Congregational Church, 240 Chalfonte, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI, is celebrating the Second Annual Creation Stewardship Sunday Sustainable Worship.
The 10:00 a.m. service will be held outdoors, led by Rev. Richard Yeager-Stiver. The message incorporates Scripture describing how God desires nature and humanity to live in harmony with each other, and how humans are charged with being responsible care givers for the earth.
At 11:00 a.m., following the service in the parking lot, visitors, church members and Michigan companies are invited, free of charge, to display examples of being good Stewards for Creation and Sustainability.
