Save the Date! You’re invited to the Good Food, Good Jobs Bus Tour on Friday, June 3rd from 8:30 am to 10 am. The Bus Tour will depart from and return to the Spirit of Detroit statue in downtown Detroit. Join members of the Doing Development Differently in Detroit D-4 Food Task Force, policy makers, labor, community, faith, and environmental groups, as well as grassroots and business leaders to learn about the Good Food, Good Jobs Act, an innovative ordinance that incorporates community-based criteria including compliance with fundamental workplace and food safety standards into the city’s liquor licensing review process.
