Oakland Schools hosted the awards for Michigan Green Schools. It was announced by Oakland Schools that each and every Michigan Green Schools has been given the opportunity for one internal page on its site by GreeningDetroit.comAt the event GreeningDetroit.com and Maxi Containers donated a large composter that will be passed throughout the different school discricts in hopes to get gardening programs started. This gives each school the unique opportunity in seeing hands on, on how it works, and how it can bennifit each school individualy.
Furthermore, it was announced that Oakland County Schools will be working close with GreeningDetroit.com in bring additional awareness of the green movement of our region, to schools and its students.
