The SE Michigan Chapter of ABPMP and Lawrence Technological University are sponsoring a 3-day seminar on “Business Process Management (BPM) – A Roadmap to Become Globally Competitive”, on March 13, 14 and 15, 2012 from 8:30am-5pm on the campus of Lawrence Tech.
The seminar features a practical Anaar BPM approach to improve organizational competitiveness for businesses, organizations, and educational units within the public and private sectors. Anaar BPM is an integrated and focused approach for developing both the effectiveness and efficiency in the face of rising competition. Methodologies presented have been researched over the course of two decades. This body of knowledge, along with customer experiences gained, is augmented by the philosophies of Dr. W. Edwards Deming. The Anaar BPM is designed to address the following challenges:
• Delays | • Inefficiencies in operations |
• Fire-fighting | • Higher costs, lower profit margins |
• Recurrent problems | • Profitability – not at intrinsic capability |
• Conflicts between departments | • Customer satisfaction – not what it should be |
• Re-work | • Quality – not at world class levels |
• Inconsistent results | • Employee motivation not consistently high |
• Losing knowledge when people move | • Lack of pride in work for all employees |
