Tickets are now on sale for the first annual Recognition Banquet honoring significant contributions to green building sustainability in South East Michigan by the Detroit Regional Chapter of the US Green Building Council.
The event, a dinner and presentation at the Fountain Bistro in award-winning Campus Martius Park, will be March 22, beginning at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $35 and $45 and are on sale now through the chapter web site at www.usgbcdetroit.org
“The long-range mission of the U.S. Green Building Council Detroit Regional Chapter is to establish criterion by which to measure accomplishments in local green building so as to be able to present awards for particular achievement”, says DRC USGBC Chairman David Norwood, “that will take significant time and consideration to develop, and our aim is to present awards in the future. In the meantime, there are outstanding contributions being made now to the future of green building in the region that we really want to recognize and celebrate.”
