The Michigan Industrial Energy Center (MIEC) is offering free energy efficiency audits for most industrial plants in Michigan.
Faculty, staff, and advanced engineering students who study best practices in industrial energy efficiency will come to your plant and work with you to identify opportunities to reduce energy usage and costs.
Teams identify short term “low hanging fruit” projects with less than 1 year paybacks and more substantive investments that can be made to significantly reduce usage and costs long term.
The application process is quick and easy. Teams review your energy usage and consult with you by phone before arriving to ensure the onsite visit is effective.
Call or e-mail us today to learn more about:
- Free 1-day Assessments for plants with <500 employees that review HVAC, lighting, process improvement, burners and furnaces, steam, fans, and compressed air.
- Free 2-day Process Heat Intensive Efficiency Audits using certified expert faculty and research fellows for plants that use large amounts of heat or steam in their processes. Many plants have saved more than $1 million per year in reduced energy bills.
