Do you have a TV taking up closet space? Are the junk drawers filled with cell phones and other gadgets? If so, please join us on November 17th, 2012 from 9am to 1pm at the RRRASOC Materials Recovery Facility in Southfield. The location is at 20000 West Eight Mile Rd, on the northeast corner of Eight Mile and Evergreen.
RRRASOC has partnered with Vintage Tech Recyclers to host the electronics recycling event.
Vintage Tech Recyclers, an R2, ISO 14001, and e-Stewards certified electronics recycling company will be onsite to provide a responsible recycling solution for the electronics being dropped off at the recycling drive. Vintage Tech provides IT asset management, responsible recycling solutions, and hard drive security in Chicago and is currently expanding operations into Detroit, MI.
As an e-Stewards and R2 certified recycler, Vintage Tech ensures that all electronics are properly handled and recycled and all hard drives are wiped and destroyed using NIST 800-88 compliant wiping software.
The electronics recycling event will be held from 9am-1pm at the RRRASOC Materials Recovery Facility at 20000 W. 8 mile Road in Southfield, MI. Residents are asked to please stay in vehicles while Vintage Tech personnel unload the electronics.
Electronic Items will be accepted free of charge at this event. This is open to the public.

Non-Accepted Items Include:
Lightbulbs, Mercury Containing Devices, Alkaline Batteries, Fluorescents, Household Chemicals, Toys, Books, Paint.
