Hard-rocking multihyphenate Andrew WK will be performing one very special show at The Crofoot Ballroom in
Pontiac, Michigan to benefit a local charity, Suits For Soldiers. Andrew W.K. is the KING OF PARTYING!
Infamous for his bloody nose, famous for his high-life attitude, beloved for his songs like, “PARTY HARD”, “WE
WANT FUN”, and “YOU WILL REMEMBER TONIGHT”. Andrew’s true will is to use all forms of entertainment to
create feelings of pure joy, fun, freedom, and possibility.
The show will also feature special guest FRAMING HANLEY, an American rock band from Nashville, Tennessee
with a new CD release “The Sum of Who We Are”. FRAMING HANLEY hit the scene in 2007 with THE MOMENT
(featuring “LOLLIPOP”, “HEAR ME NOW”) and their 2010 sophomore release A PROMISE TO BURN (“YOU
STUPID GIRL”, “BACK TO GO AGAIN”) Also appearing are up and coming hometown favorite Pop-Rock band
KALEIDO, along with the self-described “energetic, and forward-thinking hip-hop” group OF MICE AND
MUSICIANS. DJ Haylo will start out the night and keep the party jumping between bands and finish out the
night. Dave Santia, The premier performance speed painter, and crowd favorite from the Detroit area will
make an appearance doing a very special painting to be auctioned off that evening.
The Suits for Soldiers Organization’s mission is to assist Veterans and their families in their transition to civilian life and help make their lives a little easier in the process. They do this by helping with the transition into a new career easier by providing FREE suits and business attire, resume writing assistance, job interviewing and
mentoring classes. They have partnered with hundreds of companies to help the growing demand for gainful
employment of our returning Veterans.
This show is made possible by Michigan Chiver’s, a local chapter of the national charitable community
theChive, who are very passionate to help those in need with RAK (Random Acts of Kindness) and truly live by
the motto “Pay It Forward”. There are many local volunteers involved in setting up the show, and several local
companies (Including CABRESTO Tequila, and BLVISUALS as early supporters) chipping in to raise money and
awareness to help our veterans. This will be a sell-out event with an amazing line-up, so get your tickets early.
We will also be collecting used cell phones at the event to benefit veterans and their families.
