There is still time left for students to enroll at Henry Ford College (HFC) for the fall 2014 semester and take advantage of unique guarantees designed to ensure your success. The fall term begins Aug. 28, 2014.
To help provide increased enrollment convenience to students, HFC has extended the hours of operation for the College’s Welcome Center. These extended hours of operation are:
· Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and
· Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
In addition, HFC’s Welcome Center will be open throughout the month of August on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. These additional hours provide all students an efficient way to receive all the services they need to prepare for the fall 2014 Semester.
There are many reasons to enroll at HFC. First and foremost, with so many other colleges and universities in the Metro Detroit area increasing their tuition, the cost of HFC’s tuition remains unchanged for the fall 2014 Semester. The College still offers affordable tuition for students, which can save up to $40,000 on their four-year college degree program when they take their first two years at HFC, then transfer. Our “tuition freeze” guarantee ensures a student’s tuition rate will be frozen if they graduate from HFC within four years. HFC also offers a Transfer Credit Guarantee, which means that the College will refund a student’s tuition if any of the courses they complete at HFC with a grade of “C” or better fail to transfer to another college or university.
HFC also guarantees that all students will have the technical skills expected of entry-level employees once they graduate. Any graduate of an associate’s degree program who is judged by his or her employer as lacking in technical job skills normally expected of an entry-level employee will be provided further skills training from HFC of up to 16 credit hours at no charge.
“These three guarantees assure students that they’re making the best choice possible by pursuing their education at HFC,” said HFC President Dr. Stanley Jensen.
Most importantly, HFC will assure students that their schedule will remain unchanged once they register and pay tuition.
