The countdown has begun for the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy’s Shimmer on the River. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to enjoy some “Hot Havana Nights” along the beautiful and picturesque Detroit River on September 18th.
Shimmer on the River guests will enjoy delectable Cuban food, hand-rolled cigars, salsa dancing and lively entertainment in Cobo Center’s spectacular Grand Ballroom this year. The center’s just-completed open-air terrace offers breathtaking views of the Detroit River and will be available for Shimmer on the River guests to enjoy as well. The evening’s festivities will also honor General Motors with the “2014 Shimmer Award” for its ongoing support of the revitalization of the Detroit riverfront.
