ARISE DETROIT! is pleased to announce a partnership with SEED Detroit, a new website (www.seeddetroit.org) that will make it easier for Detroit organizations to post projects and recruit volunteers for improving their neighborhoods. The partnership will make it easier for Neighborhoods Day groups to recruit volunteers and update people on the progress of their projects in real time.
“In addition to posting projects for Neighborhoods Day on the ARISE Detroit! website, the SEED Detroit website will allow groups to post and monitor their projects throughout the year,” said Luther Keith, ARISE Detroit! executive director. “We consider this a major step forward in servicing groups and people who are working to improve city neighborhoods.”
SEED Detroit is looking forward to the partnership.
“We have deep respect for ARISE Detroit’s ongoing efforts to cultivate community and promote volunteerism and are thrilled to help accelerate their efforts as a technology partner,” said Ralph Paone of SEED Detroit.
