PBNSG is excited to have Dr. Akua Woolbright PhD, Senior Healthy Eating and Wellness Educator at the Whole Cities Foundation, speaking on May 31st along with John Mackey. Dr. Woolbright lives in Detroit and runs the foundation’s Let’s Talk Food Nutrition and Culinary Education Center in Midtown Detroit where hundreds of students attend healthy eating lectures, cooking demonstrations, and support groups each week. (wholecitiesfoundation.org) She is an expert in teaching people how to use plant-based foods to help prevent and reverse disease.
