Company’s Description
The “Plant Based Nutrition Support Group” was developed with the hope of reaching out to those individuals who have either already been diagnosed with, or are at risk of, developing heart disease. Our goal is to offer support to those following a plant based, low fat diet to optimize their course with cardiovascular disease.
The founder of this group, Paul Chatlin, was 56 years old when told he had one artery 100% blocked and two more 65% blocked. Minutes before being wheeled into the operating room, his cardiologist suggested Paul try a unique nutrition plan.
Championed by Dr Caldwell Esselstyn, this diet reduces and eventually eliminates plaque in arteries. Paul took the challenge, and within weeks his chest pains had ceased. Soon his cholesterol levels dropped dramatically. Today, Paul is as healthy and active as ever. If you, too, are not afraid to make dramatic changes in order to live a longer and healthier life, the “Plant Based Nutrition Support Group” is here to offer you all the necessary support!
Joining Paul in creating this new group is Dr. Joel Kahn, a preventative and interventional cardiologist at Beaumont Hospital.
