As we celebrate our 40th Anniversary, we can’t help but feel an overwhelming amount of excitement for what the future of CARE of Southeastern Michigan looks like. Our journey to forty years of impact and serving 25,000 people annually is made possible by you.
As part of our 40th Anniversary Celebration, we are launching a new campaign, 40 Years, 40 Impacts. Our goal is to raise $40,000 by the end of 2017. While this campaign has a fundraising goal, it is also centered on capturing CARE stories of impact and success, throughout the last four decades.
Drug overdose deaths increased by 18% in Michigan over the last year. Of those, 33,091 were deaths related to opioids. That’s an increase of 63%. The numbers don’t tell the stories, they share the harsh reality of an epidemic that we can’t ignore. Your gift to CARE inspires future generations of CARE supporters and has the power to help us fight this growing epidemic.
