Rock N’ Resources is proud to be hosting this event to raise awareness on the heroin and prescription drug epidemic that is impacting so many families in our communities on June 9th from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Troy community Center in Troy, MI.
This 1-day event will feature: guest speakers, 4 bands, information booths, food, and Narcan demonstrations. Additionally, the Troy Police Department will be on site hosting a prescription drug take back and volunteer angels from the Hope Not Handcuffs program will be available for those ready for recovery and seeking treatment.
The event will be an excellent place to increase the community’s awareness of the issue, local resources, and education related to the heroin and opiate epidemic. It will also be a great day to celebrate recovery and inspire hope. The issue heavily impacts our community and its members, therefore the event is very community driven and will featured partnerships including: Bryan’s Hope, Drug Free All Stars, Hope Not Handcuffs,. City of Troy, Warren Community Church.
