The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest approximately $2 million to resurface nearly 4 miles of I-69 in St. Clair County. Work includes joint and shoulder repairs, resurfacing from Taylor Road to Range Road (including the ramps at the Wadhams Road interchange), and resurfacing the carpool lots at Wadhams Road and M-19. The estimated completion date will be September 2018.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
I-69 from Taylor Road to Range Road:
- Traffic will be maintained with single-lane closures.
I-69/Wadhams Road interchange:
- Resurfacing will require closing the ramps for up to 24 hours. This closure will be announced in advance on the Mi Drive traffic information website: www.michigan.gov/drive.
Wadhams Road and M-19 carpool lots:
- Resurfacing will require closing the carpool lot for up to 48 hours.
SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS:
This work will improve the surface of the pavement, extending the life of the roadway. |
