The word ‘Green’ for many years has been considered synonymous with two things – Environmental Sustainability and Money. These two items, in consideration of Economic Stability have been at the core of GreeningDetroit.com’s mission since its inception. Relaying news on these topics while educating consumers and students as well as property owners and managers helps to expand the business relationships of the companies and organizations represented on our website and in our client base. Our goal has always been to help you stay informed and connected to the Tri-County areas local businesses, governments, non-profits, and educators, allowing them a platform to promote the positives and resources of Metro-Detroit. It’s been the key factor to our longevity and cheerleading style.
But let’s face it, there are cities, businesses, and organizations outside of Metro-Detroit that are focusing on and structuring a far more ecological and sustainable blueprint, and lessening that footprint far better than Southeast Michigan – and many of them are right here in our beautiful state. New industry and innovation, and answers to the various crises surrounding water, infrastructure and the future job market are available around the corner or up the highway, and we want you to have access to more.
For these reasons, we have decided in 2019 to raise our voices and expand our region to include all of Michigan. Though we’ve given exposure to Michigan government and educators outside of Metro-Detroit for a while, GreeningMichigan.com will now allow you to see an extended platform of opportunity through our new strategic partnerships with exciting organizations throughout our state, such as the West Michigan United States Green Building Council and the Mackinac Center for Public Policy.
In the coming
Finally, please let us know what you would like to see featured on our sites in the future, including your own business and industry – we look forward to hearing from you soon!
Sincerely,
