Lava Mountain Coffee is made of beans that are grown in volcanic ash enriched soil at 5,025 feet above seal level. It is a single origin coffee and naturally sweet! Our beans are harvested at just the right time, imported, and craft roasted to deliver the richest cup of coffee!
The green beans are directly imported from Colombia and delivered to our Detroit warehouse. This allows us to bring in a very high quality bean at a very competitive price. All imported beans are roasted in small batches to ensure fresh beans and customer satisfaction. Depending on temperature, roasting time frames, and spinning time in the roaster, each bean is perfectly roasted to it’s own profile. The roasting process allows us to separate the average coffee beans from the extraordinary.
