Media representatives are invited to attend to see a demonstration of proper fall protection gear and see workers in action on the building project. Remarks will also be given by MIOSHA and Walsh Construction officials.
Falls continue to be the leading cause of workplace fatalities in Michigan. Hazard elimination, proper training, and use of fall protection can change these numbers. As Michigan enters the construction season, MIOSHA is reminding employers and workers of the importance of fall prevention.
