Livonia, Michigan 2010 – On Saturday, January 8, 2011, more than twenty vendors will gather for LifeCare’s first Health Expo & Workshops beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at 29850 6 Mile Road in Livonia (Calvary Missionary Church). The public is invited to come browse, taste-test, sit in on workshops, ask questions of vendors, watch demonstrations, participate in or learn about reflexology and other health improvement techniques.More

For your information, there may be legislation passing this week (Nov 30th – Dec 2nd) in the Michigan legislature on offshore wind. This legislation (HB 6564 – http://www.legislature.mi.gov/documents/2009-2010/billintroduced/House/pdf/2010-HIB-6564.pdf) creates a permitting process such that the waters of the State of Michigan are protected and the development of offshore wind resources is enabled. Adopting this legislation now will give Michigan the opportunity to move ahead of other States in building both offshore wind supply chain businesses and Great Lakes offshore wind deployment and maintenance businesses.

On Friday, November 19, 2010, Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Kathleen MacDonald ruled in our favor, denying Systematic Recycling, the composting facility on Jefferson Avenue in Delray, a temporary restraining order to prevent the city from issuing tickets for violations.
