Today the students of Birmingham Covington School, an official Michigan Green School in Bloomfield Hills, learned first hand what it means to be a part of a sustainable, green future.
Birmingham (WWJ) — In celebration of Earth Day this week, Birmingham Public Schools held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday to dedicate the newly donated wind turbine located at Birmingham Covington School.
Hundreds of students and area dignitaries gathered at the Covington School on Quarton Road in Bloomfield Township Tuesday for the ribbon-cutting of a new Mariah Power vertical-axis wind turbine.
